We offer the possibility of a Canoe-Adventure ranging from 18 up to 90 km in length along the banks of the, always calmly streaming, river Klarälven in Värmland.
This makes this tour also suitable for the not so experienced canoe adventurers and families with younger children.
You may start your adventure at 5 different starting-points:
Our first starting-point is Fastnäs; at approx. 15 car-km from Hedegårds you can start a day-tour that will take about 3 to 4 hours. Along the way you will be able to find lots of nice places for a picnic or time to play on one of the several sand-banks.
Our second starting-point is Stöllet; at about 35 km, where the roads 62 en 45 meet, is our second starting place. The route from here will take you along some steeper banks and hills. But the river never exceeds the speed of about 2 km per hour.
Our third starting-point is Ambjörby on ca. 45 km
Starting-point number 4, Branäs, where during winter a lot of skiing is going on, lays at about 65 km.
Our fifth starting-point and most northern starting point is Sysslebäck, situated on some 75 km from Hedegårds.
Remember that with all its curves the Klarälven will need a few more km to get back to Hedegårds!
From Stöllet on the tours are suitable to spread over more days, but you set the pace!
All our tours end at the landing-place behind Hedegårds; so you can leave your car safely at our parking, because we will bring you!
